Windshield Wipers
Alright so I just have one quick question. How often should someone be replacing their windshield wipers because I have found out that on my friend's car his wipers are leaving streak marks and not clearing the water all the way. His car is in fairly good shape and not very old so I do not think it is a matter of not taking car of his car. Can anyone clarify for me if there is a specific time when one should replace their wipers, or it just when you can see they are wearing out? How much is this going to cost my friend to replace?

The streak marks don't have any relation to the condition of the car. I looked around on the web and some people said change them anually or others said when they start making those streaks. So it looks like your friend needs a new pair soon.
Rj, I believe he should replace them whenever he can see that they are leaving streak marks. Wipers aren't that expensive only about 30 bucks and are easy to install. Some good brand names of wiper blades are rainex, and bosch. I would recommend your friend go and purchase a new pair soon.
